🖍️ Adopt a wobbly crayon pup to love

How to play

Doodle Doggo is a slow, cozy game. There is no way to lose and nothing bad ever happens. Here is everything you need for your first days.

Your first day

  1. Adopt a dog

Start at the Shelter. Read each dog’s card, pick a boy or a girl and give them a name. Adopting is always free.

  2. Take care of them

Four crayon meters show Hunger, Happiness, Energy and Clean. Feed, Play, Care and Nap fill them, and petting your dog always helps.

  3. Go for a walk

Walks are where you earn most of your Paw Coins. Dash along the route, jump, collect treats and follow the Nose-o-meter to dig up treasure.

  4. Grow your Bond

Everything you do together adds Bond. Each new Bond level opens a new part of the game.

  5. Explore the town

Open the Map to visit the park, the beach, Market Street’s shops, the café and more. Every place has its own lines for every dog.

What Bond opens

  • Bond 2: the Garden and the Mt. Fuji Lookout.
  • Bond 3: the Kitchen and the Station, where the Shinkansen goes to Tokyo.
  • Higher Bond: more places your dog likes to hang out around home and town.

Handy tips

  • Gerald the duck knows everything. Follow his tour on your first day, or read his notes in the Journal later.
  • The clipboard in the yard has three daily missions. They are a quick way to earn coins and Bond.
  • Ball play works everywhere: drag the ball and let go to throw. Your whole pack races for it.
  • Time runs fast: one game hour is one real minute, and one real day is a month in your dog’s life.
  • The camera button makes a postcard of your pack to save or share.
  • Seasons follow the real calendar, with festivals in autumn, winter and the New Year.

Puppies and families

Grown-up dogs can have puppy playdates. Coats and looks are inherited like real dogs, and mixes get a body from one parent and a head from the other.

The game keeps the real welfare rules: no relatives, the right age, rest between litters. Puppies you don’t keep go to named families for free, and they send you postcards.
